Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic's St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA, is seeking a Building Services Aide (housekeeping) for an evening shift 3:00 pm–11:30 pm with alternating weekends. The role performs hospital housekeeping tasks to maintain clean, sanitary areas for patients and staff.

You will be responsible for cleaning, floor care, equipment maintenance, and supporting infection control while respecting hospital property. On-site parking is provided, and benefits kick in from day one.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalency preferred.
• 1 year experience minimum in hospital housekeeping or related field.
• 2-4 years experience preferred in environmental services or housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping duties to clean, sanitize and maintain assigned areas for patients, colleagues and the public.
• Promote sanitary conditions and prevent the spread of infection; handle tasks with care for patient safety.
• Maintain floors, equipment and storage areas in good operating condition.
• Respect hospital and company property and extend duties to related buildings as needed.
• Follow supervisor directions and ensure adherence to policies and safety procedures.

Position Purpose

The Building Services Aide performs housekeeping duties for the hospital’s Environmental Services Department. As a “Building Services Aide” you will: This position is responsible for all general cleaning task in maintaining an assigned area of the hospital in a clean, sanitary, orderly and satisfying surroundings for the patients, colleagues and public. The environmental service technician promotes sanitary conditions, which prevents the spread of infection and odors. May be required to perform task, which involve exposure to visible blood contamination or reasonably anticipated blood contamination. Performs all cleaning, floor care and project assignments within area of responsibility or as directed by supervisor. Maintains equipment, tools and storage areas in clean, orderly and good operating condition. Respects Hospital and Company property. Similar duties may also extend to the Medical Office Building, other buildings and the adjacent grounds of the Medical Center’s premises.

Minimum Qualifications
