Job summary

AdventHealth in Shawnee, KS is seeking a Full-time Night Shift Housekeeper to maintain patient and public areas, follow infection control procedures, and support a clean, safe hospital environment. You will stock supplies and use handheld devices to track bed flow as needed.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent and prior housekeeping or custodial experience preferred; English communication and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv (Preferred).
• Housekeeping or custodial experience (Preferred).
• Must be able to operate a computer using standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned patient and public areas daily, including collecting and removing trash and sanitizing surfaces.
• Stocks paper items, cleaning solutions and other supplies in assigned areas as necessary.
• Follows infection control, isolation procedures, and proper operation of cleaning equipment.
• Uses Bed Management system with handheld devices to track bed flow.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
