Job summary

AdventHealth Shawnee Mission is hiring a full-time housekeeping professional for night shifts in Kansas. You will clean patient and public areas, stock supplies, and follow infection control procedures.

The role uses Bed Management systems to optimize bed throughput and requires basic computer skills. Candidates should have a High School diploma, prefer previous housekeeping experience, and be able to communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English.
• High School Grad or Equiv preferred.
• Housekeeping or custodial experience preferred.
• Knowledge of infection control procedures.
• Basic computer skills and use of mouse/keyboard.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned patient and public areas daily, including trash removal and sanitizing surfaces.
• Stocks paper items, cleaning solutions and supplies in assigned areas as needed.
• Follows infection control procedures and proper operation of cleaning equipment.
• Utilizes Bed Management system to maintain bed flow and track via handheld devices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
