Job summary

Cedarhurst of Shawnee in Shawnee, KS is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors. You will perform housekeeping and laundry, restock supplies, and coordinate with maintenance to address repairs according to policy and schedule.

The role requires a high school diploma, prior housekeeping experience preferred, and familiarity with MS Office and EHR systems. CPR/BLS certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems is expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties (sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming) and laundry.
• Clean according to schedule (daily, weekly, monthly) in resident areas and offices.
• Restock supplies and report repair needs to Supervisor.
• Collaborate with maintenance and other staff for a safe, welcoming environment.
