Job summary

Select Medical in Omaha, NE is seeking an Environmental Services Technician (EVS)/Housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe hospital environment. The role includes cleaning patient rooms, offices, nurse’s stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms and kitchens to support quality patient care.

The position is full-time, 3pm–11:30pm with every other weekend. Previous hospital EVS/housekeeping experience is required and benefits are offered according to policy.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience required.
• EVS/housekeeping in hospital is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean work environment in assigned areas (patient rooms, offices, nurse’s stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators and lobby).
• Perform light manual work ensuring routine housekeeping tasks follow schedules and procedures.
• Clean assigned areas using cleaning solutions and disinfectants to prevent disease spread.
• Dust surfaces with cloths and vacuum to remove dust, trash and arrange furniture.
