Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Housekeeper to provide environmental cleaning and maintenance across hospital areas. The role includes operating cleaning equipment, sanitizing patient rooms, and maintaining a sanitary environment.

The position supports holidays and alternating weekends, with an evening shift from 3pm to 11:30pm on a full-time schedule. A signing bonus may be available during the interview process.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Healthcare cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Environmental Cleaning and Maintenance.
• Load service cart with materials for assigned area.
• Operate and clean cleaning equipment (mechanical, electrical).
• Clean operating suites with germicidal solutions and arrange furniture.
• Clean patient rooms and other areas ensuring a safe, clean environment.
