Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean work environment in assigned areas, including patient rooms, nurse’s stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators and lobby areas.
• Ensure sanitation, order and appearance of the hospital.
• Perform light manual housekeeping tasks according to established schedules and procedures.
• Clean assigned areas by washing furnishings, floors, and equipment with cleaning solutions and disinfectants.
• Dust window sills, blinds, floors, and furniture; empty trash; arrange furniture and equipment orderly.
• Make beds with clean linen and replenish supplies of soap, towels and other items.
