Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in environmental services or hospital facility maintenance.
• Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, and floor care techniques.
• Ability to handle biohazardous/infectious waste safely and in compliance with infection control standards.

Responsibilities

• Performs floor care tasks (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, waxing, shampooing).
• Collects and disposes of waste following policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Handles soiled linens and replaces with clean bags.
• Cleans and sanitizes patient rooms, restrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas.
• Responds to spills and conducts disinfection per safety guidelines.
• Moves furniture and equipment as needed for cleaning or maintenance.
• Maintains cleaning logs and reports completed tasks.
