Qualifications

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
• Read and understand material safety data sheets and chemical instructions.
• Previous related experience in environmental services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning tasks (dusting, mopping, scrubbing, disinfecting, vacuuming, polishing) according to policy.
• Empties hampers, transports soiled linen, trash, and medical waste.
• Restocks supplies (toilet tissue, paper towels, hand soap) in assigned areas.
• Maintains cleanliness of equipment and logs usage; notifies for repairs.
• Possibly performs special projects like windows/wall washing and heavy cleaning.
• Responds to questions from patients, staff and visitors; supports customer service goals.
