Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Wentworth-Douglass Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services Aide to maintain safety and cleanliness in patient care areas and common spaces. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitizing restrooms, and preparing rooms for events and daily activities.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred) and 2–3 years of hospital cleaning experience. Must be able to work evenings on site, with a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Experience: 2–3 years hospital cleaning experience required.
• Experience with cleaning equipment and hospital chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps, mops, waxes, strips, and polishes floors.
• Dusts and polishes furniture, woodwork, fixtures, and equipment.
• Washes walls, ceilings, and windows; restrooms cleaned and stocked.
• Empties, cleans, and sanitizes waste receptacles in assigned areas.
• Identifies and reports building maintenance needs.
