Job summary

Regions Hospital is seeking a positive and cheerful Custodial Worker to join our team. This role contributes to a clean and safe environment for patients and staff, following established procedures and helping maintain a sanitary hospital.

The position is casual with a 3pm-11:30pm schedule, every other weekend. Education: high school diploma preferred; hospital custodial experience preferred; must be able to read/write English and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Custodial experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Must read, write and follow directions in English.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Push/pull 30 pounds up to 90 feet.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service all hospital areas per procedures.
• Move supplies and light equipment as requested.
• Perform environmental services to keep hospital sanitary.
• Other duties as assigned.
