Job summary

Columbus Regional Health is seeking a Culinary Team member to support the Food and Nutritional Care department. Under the direction of the Executive Chef, you will prepare all food items for patients, catering functions and cafeteria customers.

This on-site role requires standing/walking, lifting up to 10 pounds, and adapting to hot and cold temperatures. Certification as a Safe Food Handler is required within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or 1–3 years related experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Within 6 months of hire, certification as a Safe Food Handler.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Executive Chef, prepare all food items for patients, catering functions and cafeteria customers.
• Support the Food and Nutritional Care department to serve approximately 450,000 meals per year.
• Frequent walking and standing; lift up to 10 pounds; work in hot and cold temperatures.
