Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a part-time registered nurse for an evening shift in Massachusetts. The role runs 4:00pm to 9:00pm Monday through Thursday, with pay between $50.00 and $52.00 per hour.

You will perform initial nursing assessments, develop care plans, and coordinate with the care team to support patients at home. The ideal candidate holds an active RN license for the state, CPR certification, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

Current RN license valid in the state(s) assigned
One year of nursing experience preferred; new graduate program available
Current CPR certification
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and liability insurance

Responsibilities

Perform initial nursing assessment on new admissions
Coordinate and revise the plan of care; ensure continuity of patient care
Regularly communicate patient progress to the clinical manager and care team
Develop, prepare and maintain individualized patient care records
Record pain and symptom management changes and outcomes
Educate families on patient condition and needs
Make referrals to other hospice disciplines as needed or document rationale
Perform on-call responsibilities and services as assigned
Perform other duties as assigned
