Job summary

Momentum Transportation USA in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Project Coordinator to execute afterhours transportation functions and ensure on-time performance for heavy haul projects. You will manage capacity, adhere to SOPs, and coordinate with drivers and carriers.

The role requires strong communication, knowledge of DOT regulations, and the ability to update the TMS. You should be comfortable with extended hours as needed and maintain high standards of service and reliability.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years dispatch operations experience.
• Direct experience working with drivers.
• Heavy and/or specialized experience preferred.
• CDL driver experience preferred but not necessary.
• English fluency required.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch trucks to ensure the flow of product meets customer demands.
• Negotiate with transportation providers for best rates and service.
• Monitor shipments from pickup to delivery (Track & Trace).
• Maintain relationships with carriers to ensure capacity and monitor service standards.
• Communicate effectively with carriers and team members.
• Update and maintain transportation management systems.
• Prioritize tasks to focus on issues impacting quality and service.
• Provide complex problem resolution and swift solutions.
• Work extended hours as needed to support project needs.
