Job summary

Olympia Fields Hospital is seeking a Security Officer to manage evening shifts and coordinate security operations at our Olympia Fields, IL facility. This full-time role involves electronic surveillance, rounds, and enforcing safety policies to ensure a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Ideal candidates have healthcare security experience and a high school diploma; a state guard card is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1. Experience in Healthcare security or related field preferred.
• 2. State Guard Certification Registration Card preferred.
• 3. High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Leads or coordinates shift operations of assigned activities, resources, and/or associates.
• Performs security services, including electronic surveillance, and security rounds.
• Coordinates facility response to problems for patients, employees and visitors.
• Enforces policy, liaises with Environment of Care to promote safety.
• Participates in employee awareness and education; driving for company business.
