Job summary

Qualifications

• Must speak fluent English.

• Complete departmental training within the first 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes carpeted and hard surface floors and applies maintenance procedures.
• Assist in cleanup of emergency spills and floor care tasks (stripping and refinishing hard floors, deep carpet cleaning).
• Manage waste and linen disposal and transport hazardous waste as required.
• Stock supplies and report equipment issues or shortages.
• Access secure medication rooms for cleaning purposes.
• Follow infection prevention protocols and PPE usage.
• Participate in projects and performance improvement initiatives.
