Job summary

Ford Field is seeking an EVS Custodian to maintain a clean, safe environment in a medical facility. You will clean exam rooms, restrooms, waiting areas, and corridors to healthcare standards, supporting patient care and infection-control protocols in a fast-paced setting.

Pay rate is $16.00 per hour with weekly pay. Shifts include Mon-Fri 5:00 PM–9:00 PM and Sat-Sun 5:00 PM–9:00 PM in Canton, MI. Prior healthcare cleaning experience is preferred; typical background checks apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must pass required background checks.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and detailed cleaning of clinical areas, including exam rooms, offices, restrooms, waiting rooms, and hallways.
• Safely clean and disinfect surfaces, equipment, and high-touch areas according to healthcare protocols.
• Handle and properly dispose of regulated medical waste, including sharps containers and biohazard materials.
• Restock supplies such as soap, paper products, sanitizing solutions, and PPE.
• Perform floor care tasks including mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, and spot cleaning.
• Empty trash and Biomedical waste receptacles and transport to designated disposal areas.
