Job summary

Forefront Healthcare is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to perform daily cleaning, floor care, waste management and laundry in a healthcare setting. You will follow infection prevention protocols and support supervisors to keep spaces safe and welcoming for patients, residents, staff and visitors.

This hourly, full-time role offers a competitive benefits package and opportunities for on-the-job training. Pay rate is $12.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare or hospitality cleaning preferred.
• Knowledge of infection prevention protocols and safety standards.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing of patient areas, public spaces, and work areas.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies safely.
• May assist with laundry duties; sort, wash, dry, fold, and deliver linens.
• Follow infection prevention and safety protocols per OSHA, CMS, and TJC standards.
• Assist in setting up rooms, moving furniture, and minor maintenance as needed.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to the Supervisor.
• Document completed work and follow quality checklists.
• Participate in training and team meetings.
