Job summary

GCC is seeking a second-shift construction management support role to assist with Electronic Healthcare Records Management upgrades at the John Cochran VA Medical Center. This position requires reading construction documents, effective communication with the project team, and leadership of the inspection and QA group to ensure timely oversight.

Ideal candidates will have a BS degree or 15 years of directly related experience, healthcare project exposure, and strong skills in progress reporting,

Qualifications

• BS degree or fifteen years of directly related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and communicate effectively with project team members.
• Healthcare project experience preferred.
• Lead inspection and quality assurance team to ensure timely oversight.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily progress and inspection reports.
• Lead the inspection and QA team assigned to projects.
• Support schedule development and IMS coordination as needed.
• Provide written and oral communications and coordination with construction teams.
