Job summary

Resilience Behavioral Health in Union, NJ seeks an Evening Group Facilitator to lead structured group therapy sessions within a clinical IOP setting. The role involves delivering evidence-based content, documenting progress, and coordinating with the clinical team to align with individual treatment goals.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s degree in psychology/counseling/social work and active NJ licensure. This per-group role offers about two groups per evening and a meaningful path for licensure

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
• Active, independent licensure in New Jersey.
• Experience facilitating group therapy in behavioral health settings.
• Familiarity with IOP or similar levels of care is a plus.
• Strong documentation skills and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and lead group therapy sessions as scheduled within the evening IOP program.
• Prepare and deliver structured, evidence-informed group content tailored to client population.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for each group session, including progress notes and attendance records.
• Complete all required reports in accordance with program, organizational, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure continuity of care and alignment with treatment goals.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, therapeutic group environment that promotes client engagement and recovery.
