Job summary

Sevita REM Community Services in Minnesota is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our mission-driven team. Wage is 21 hourly with evening shifts: Wed/Thu/Fri 3PM-11PM, and every other Sat/Sun 3PM-11PM, or Mon/Tues/Fri 3PM-11PM with alternating weekends.

You’ll help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities with daily living, personal care, community participation, and goal support in budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Excellent communication, adaptability and ability to multitask.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable and responsible demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Support participants with behavioral challenges and complex needs.
• Help with budgeting, exercise, and nutrition goals.
• Encourage community participation and independent living.
