• Master's degree in a relevant field with supervised substance abuse counseling experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with two years of supervised substance abuse counseling.
• Certification such as CADAC or LADC with 4,000 hours of supervision and 220 hours supervision.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate psycho-educational groups using a core curriculum.
• Update records including admission/discharge forms, group notes, eight-week evaluations, exit interviews.
• Make treatment referrals as appropriate and inform clients about payments.
• Collaborate with program coordinator and attend meetings.
• Maintain safety and quality of site; report incidents to supervisor.
