Qualifications

• A master’s degree in clinical psychology, education-counseling, or related field and 1 year of supervised substance abuse counseling.
• A Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of supervised substance abuse counseling experience.
• Recognized certification or licensure, with 4000 hours of clinically supervised counseling.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate psycho-educational groups using a core curriculum.
• Update records including admission and discharge forms.
• Make treatment recommendations and referrals as appropriate.
• Participate in staff and treatment meetings.
• Ensure compliance with DPH and agency policies.
