Job summary

The State of Connecticut's Connecticut Technical Education and Career System (CTECS) seeks a full-time Maintainer at Platt Technical High School in Milford, CT. You will perform groundskeeping, landscaping, snow removal, and general maintenance to keep the campus safe, clean, and welcoming for students, staff, and visitors.

You will work outdoors with hand and power tools, on a 2nd shift (2:15 pm – 10:15 pm), 37.5 hours per week, year-round.

Qualifications

• Experience or training in basic maintenance or willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to operate, care for and perform minor maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Record keeping.

Responsibilities
