ConGlobal is seeking a detail-oriented Gate Clerk in Wilmington, CA. You will inspect and document trailers, log inspections, and communicate with customers at the gate.

The role is full-time with paid training, starting pay of $20/hour plus a $2/hour night shift differential. Schedule is 4:30PM – Midnight, Monday through Friday, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Prior logistics/transportation experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Open availability for all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to work in an office setting with extended indoor tasks.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and document condition of trailers, chassis, and containers.
• Update the system with detailed inspection information promptly.
• Answer inbound customer calls professionally.
• Maintain clean and organized workstations and equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and quality standards.
• Coordinate with yard and dispatch teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Report equipment issues to supervisors.
