Job summary

RJW Transport, Inc. is seeking a Security Gate Guard to control access to inbound and outbound trailer yards on site, ensure secure and efficient trailer movement, and conduct gate and door inspections.

The role requires 1–2 years of clerical experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and ability to communicate in English. Shifts may include nights, weekends, and holidays; pay is $20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate, read, write, and speak English.
• 1–2 years of clerical experience.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of all entries, exits, and cargo inspections in a logbook or electronic system.
• Maintain communication with other security personnel and management.
• Cooperate with operations and logistics to ensure secure warehouse operations.
• Report any incidents or suspicious activity to management.
• Adapt to changing circumstances such as traffic patterns or security threats.
• Perform perimeter checks to ensure gates, doors, and fences are secure.
• Maintain confidentiality of company information.
• Be prepared to work irregular shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
