Job summary

Gilchrist Center Howard in Towson, MD is seeking an evening receptionist to greet visitors, answer phones, take messages, and support mail and office duties. You will use OpenScape to handle calls and maintain orderly mail operations.

High school diploma required with strong communication, data-entry, and Microsoft Office skills. Experience with EPIC is preferred; shift is 3:00 pm–10:30 pm.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Customer service experience with a patient-friendly approach.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook & Excel; strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with EPIC and OpenScape preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and staff; determine needs and direct to appropriate staff.
• Answer phones, take messages and relay information per HIPAA rules.
• Sort and deliver mail; manage mailroom and office supplies.
• Enter data and maintain logs; assist with clerical tasks as needed.
• Assist with scheduling and use Outlook for calendar management.
