Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience in warehousing or freight handling preferred.
• Ability to count and perform basic math.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift/carry freight of varying weights regularly.

Responsibilities

• Transport freight across dock area to/from trailers.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck as required.
• Verify freight documentation matches description (type, weight, hazmat).
• Secure freight inside trailers using pallets, straps, or rope.
• Recoup/repair damaged freight when necessary.
• Complete required documentation and reports; assist customers as needed.
