Job summary

Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC is seeking a Forklift Operator for the Monday through Friday 1pm-9:30pm shift. You will load and unload materials using a hand truck, reach truck, or forklift, maintaining a clean and safe work area and verifying loads against manifests.

Qualifications

• Must be able to use forklifts, pallet jacks, and banding/shrink-wrap material.
• Experience using an RF scan gun is required.
• Previous forklift certifications preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed, occasional weekends.
• Must be able to read and comprehend work instructions well.
• Must have the ability to work well with others.
• High attention to detail required.
• Must have the ability to work well with others with little supervision.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. unassisted.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Utilizing manifest to pull route, stage freight, and assist Drivers in loading and unloading trucks.
• Forklift experience and safe operation of warehouse equipment.
• Material handling including picking, packing, scanning, and counting products.
• Identifying and annotating overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D).
• Safely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Read and follow detailed instructions in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment following TSA and OSHA guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
