Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Supervisor to lead the food service team on a 3pm-8:30pm shift. You will supervise staff, ensure service quality, and maintain sanitation standards in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities include coaching team members, managing costs, and collaborating with management to drive profitability. Ideal candidates have prior food service supervisory experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Previous food service supervisory experience
• ServSafe certification preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with cash handling procedures and reconciliation of cash banks and reports
• Knowledge of POS systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision to the food service team to ensure they consistently meet our standards of superior customer service, quality and cleanliness
• Assist with the preparing and serving of food items
• Ensure the profitability of the business by operating within established guidelines and requirements for sales growth, food cost, labor, and all other controllable costs
• Participate in team member meetings and training programs; provide coaching to team members as needed
• Ensure compliance with proper sanitation and safety standards
• Interact professionally and effectively with all levels of individuals, ranging from client contacts and company executives, to hourly team members
• Provide prompt, accurate and professional responses, guidance and information to clients and company management as needed or requested
