Job summary

Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services in La Crosse, WI is hiring a full-time Food Service Worker/Cashier. The role includes cashiering and general food service with a 2:00 pm–10:30 pm schedule at the University of Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

• Performs cashier duties and sales transactions.
• Handles food preparation tasks like washing, peeling, cutting vegetables.
• Maintains sanitation in preparation, service and dining areas.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Ensures compliance with food safety procedures and portion control.
• Interacts with customers and resolves complaints in a friendly manner.
• Enters sales into the cash register and handles payments.
• Relays information to supervisor as needed.
