Job summary

Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater is hiring full-time cashier staff. The role involves cash handling and customer service on a campus dining floor, with a fixed pay rate of $18.27 per hour and a Monday–Thursday schedule from 10:30 am to 8:00 pm.

Qualifications

• Prior cash handling and customer service experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs sales transactions in a timely fashion.
• Enters all sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded.
• Makes change, accepts cards, and issues receipts to customers.
• Follows procedures for issuing cash refunds.
• Interacts with customers and resolves complaints in a friendly, service‑oriented manner.
• Maintains cash drawer; ensures accuracy and cash control procedures.
