Job summary

NHC HealthCare Lawrenceburg seeks a dependable and caring Evening Aide to join our dietary team. This part-time role supports quality meal service for patients and residents while helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment.

The 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. shift is 2–3 days per week, with every other weekend required. Starting pay is $13.00 per hour, with benefits eligibility varying by position and location.

Qualifications

• Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Previous food service or health care experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work the 11:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. shift, 2-3 days per week.
• Availability to work every other weekend is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing and serving meals according to established menus, recipes, and dietary instructions.
• Prepare meal trays and help ensure meals are delivered accurately and on time.
• Assist with dining room setup, meal service, and cleanup.
• Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and food service equipment.
• Maintain clean and sanitary kitchen, dining, storage, and food preparation areas.
• Properly store food and supplies and follow safe food handling practices.
• Follow sanitation, infection control, safety, and NHC procedures.
• Provide courteous service to patients, residents, families, visitors, and fellow partners.
• Assist the dietary team with additional duties as assigned.
