Job summary

Allure Health Care Services is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to support meal preparation, serving residents, and maintaining sanitation in the kitchen and dining areas. The role requires following planned menus, special diets, and infection-control standards.

The position involves lifting and moving resources, delivering meals, and assisting during emergencies as needed. 4pm–7pm shift, friendly team environment, and opportunity to contribute to resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must maintain sanitation and safety of food service areas.
• Must show patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm.
• Must be willing to adopt new methods and practices.
• Must not pose a direct threat to health or safety in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Review, prepare & serve meals per planned menus and dietary orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and safe operation of the department and equipment.
• Perform dishwashing and cleaning to ensure utensils are ready for next meal.
• Deliver snacks and meals, and assist in serving in dining rooms as directed.
