Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital (Advocate Health Care) seeks a part-time Food Service Assistant in the Food and Nutrition Department. The role requires working hours in the evenings (3:30-7:30 pm and/or 4:00-8:00 pm) with every other weekend and rotating holidays.

Pay range is $18.85-$28.30 per hour, with no benefits eligibility. The position involves warewashing, patient meal assembly, and collaboration with hospital staff to meet dietary requirements and service standards.

Formación

• Good level of communication skills.
• Speaks & writes English.
• Good math skills.

Responsabilidades

• Performs warewashing for the department meal service program.
• Demonstrates teamwork in the performance of duties.
• Completes warewashing within established timeframes.
• Stores all serving ware to meet operational needs.
• Washes and sanitizes pots and pans according to procedure and health regs.
• Prepares patient meals and nourishments that meet diet orders.
• Assembles meal trays with high standards of appearance and infection control.
