Job summary

Michael Foods, Inc. in LeSueur, Minnesota seeks a sanitation team member to clean egg packing equipment and related facilities. The role runs 3:30pm–11:30pm on a rotating schedule every other weekend, supporting the Grading sanitations team.

This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic math, and the ability to read simple instructions; food manufacturing sanitation experience is desirable. Training on safety and GMP policies will be provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Experience in food manufacturing or sanitation desirable.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
• Knowledge of food manufacturing equipment.
• Basic math with units of measurement.
• Ability to communicate information to team members.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean egg packing equipment and facilities according to the sanitation schedule.
• Operate the CIP system to clean the accumulator.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment for cleaning.
• Document cleaning information in worksheets and sanitation schedule.
• Use chemicals to clean equipment and verify concentrations.
• Maintain regular attendance aligned with production scheduling.
• Follow Safety and GMP policies and report issues promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
