Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring a Floor Technician at Marion General Hospital in Marion, IN. The shift runs Monday–Friday, 5:00 pm – 2:30 am (flexible if floor work requires). No experience needed; training provided. Fixed pay rate: $15.00 per hour.

You will handle floor maintenance, operate industrial floor care equipment, and support carpet and upholstery cleaning as part of a comprehensive EVS team.

Qualifications

• No experience required; willing to train.
• Knowledge of safety procedures.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience in floor care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and proper procedures (stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning).
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Perform carpet and upholstery cleaning including shampooing and extraction.
• Perform maintenance/restoration for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
