Job summary

Crothall Healthcare is hiring floor technicians for full-time and part-time roles at Health Lakeview Hospital in Covington, LA. The position covers floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment.

Typical shifts are 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm, Monday to Friday with rotating weekends. Prior floor care experience is required, with a pay range of $15.00 to $20.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures for stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Uses automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Performs carpet and upholstery cleaning such as shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming.
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
