Job summary

BAC is seeking a Floor Technician to perform custodial duties at Kennedy Space Center in a timely and efficient manner. The role reports to the site leadership team.

Responsibilities include floor cleaning, polishing, stripping, waxing, and carpet shampooing, with related tasks as required. The position offers a 32-hour work week with a Mon-Fri 3:30 pm – Midnight schedule and a suite of benefits including medical options and time off.

Qualifications

• Six months’ experience with floor care work.
• Must pass a background screening for access to the work areas.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor custodial work such as mopping, polishing, stripping and waxing floors.
• Shampoo carpets and move furniture as needed.
• Maintain supplies and equipment per procedures.
• Work days and hours may vary based on operational needs.
• Perform other floor custodial tasks as requested.
