Job summary

Campus Services Group is seeking a Floor Technician to maintain clean and safe floors across campus environments. You will operate floor care equipment, perform stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning, and collaborate with staff to address cleaning needs in classrooms, offices, and common areas.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM at the Gwynedd Valley location. A high school diploma is preferred; training is provided, and a background check is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in floor care or janitorial services is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Ability to operate and maintain specialized floor care equipment.
• Must pass criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized floor care tasks, such as stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning.
• Safely operate various types of floor care equipment, such as auto scrubbers and burnishers.
• Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of floors in public and private spaces, including hallways, classrooms, offices, and common areas.
• Comply with safety standards and follow all infection control, sanitation, and hazardous materials policies.
• Respond promptly to floor care requests and maintain communication with campus staff.
• Perform light janitorial duties, including trash removal, as needed.
• Collaborate with your supervisor and team to identify areas needing attention or improvement.
• All other duties as assigned by management.
