Job summary

Campus Services Group is seeking a Floor Technician to maintain clean, safe floors across campus environments. The role runs Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with duties including stripping, waxing, buffing, floor cleaning, and operating auto scrubbers and burnishers.

You may also perform light janitorial tasks and collaborate with staff to address floor-care needs. Starting pay is USD 20.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in floor care or janitorial services is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Must provide a criminal background check.
• Ability to operate and maintain specialized floor care equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized floor care tasks, such as stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning.
• Safely operate various types of floor care equipment, such as auto scrubbers and burnishers.
• Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of floors in public and private spaces.
• Comply with safety standards and infection control policies.
• Respond promptly to floor care requests and communicate with campus staff.
• Perform light janitorial duties, including trash removal.
• Collaborate with supervisor and team to identify areas needing attention.
• All other duties as assigned by management.
