Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is hiring a Floor Technician at the CDC Clifton location in Atlanta. You will perform daily cleaning tasks, maintain floors, walls and carpets, and ensure a safe, clean environment for staff and visitors.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to lift 50 pounds regularly, and availability for an afternoon shift Monday through Friday. This employer emphasizes equal opportunity and offers benefits and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience or knowledge in floor care is preferred.
• Able to lift 50 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Remove wax build-up from baseboard, corners and edges of floors.
• Strip or scrub and refinish appropriate floor surfaces.
• Scrub ceramic floor tile areas.
• Wash walls with detergent germicide or neutral cleaner.
• Remove spots from carpet and/or upholstery; extract dirt.
• Dust mop, damp mop and burnish appropriate floor surfaces.
• Follow all work procedures and standards per the quality management system.
