Job summary

GDI Integrated Facility Services in Pittsburgh, PA, is hiring a Floor Care Associate to join our team delivering clean, safe, and well-maintained commercial environments. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5pm–1am, with weekends when necessary.

Travel to multiple GDI locations for floor care, waxing, sealing, and routine cleaning using buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums. Requirements include at least 1 year of floor-care experience, valid driver’s license, ability to work independently or with a team,

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of floor-care experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Steel-toed shoes required when applicable.
• Ability to work in hot conditions and perform physical labor.

Responsibilities

• Strip, seal, wax, and polish floors as needed.
• Clean commercial buildings, including restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and remove trash.
• Travel to various GDI locations to complete floor care and specialty cleaning projects.
• Operate floor-cleaning equipment, including buffers, scrubbers, carpet machines, pressure washers, and wet/dry vacuums.
• Follow safety procedures and properly place safety barricades in work areas.
