Indiana University Health North Hospital in Carmel, IN is seeking a Full-Time Environmental Services Floor Care Technician for the evening shift (3:00pm–11:30pm, every other weekend/holiday). No prior floor care experience is required, but you must have an Indiana driver's license and pass a floor care competency assessment.

You will operate auto-scrubbers, buffers, burnishers, and carpet extractors. You will work with clinical and EVS teams to keep floors safe and visually welcoming, follow

Qualificações

• No prior floor care experience required.
• Requires Indiana driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Must pass floor care competency assessment.
• Able to operate floor care equipment (auto-scrubbers, buffers, burnishers, carpet extractors).
• Must wear protective equipment per hospital policy and infection prevention protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Specializes in maintenance, appearance, and safety of floor surfaces.
• Operates specialized floor care equipment and performs stripping, waxing, polishing, and deep cleaning.
• Coordinates with EVS and clinical teams to minimize disruption and ensure safety.
• Contributes to development of floor care plans and schedules.
• Reports conditions requiring advanced repair and ensures compliance with safety signage.
