Job summary

GDI Integrated Facility Services is seeking a floor care technician to join our team in the United States. The role involves cleaning and maintaining floors across various commercial locations, with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 5pm to 1am, and weekends as necessary.

You will operate floor-cleaning equipment, follow safety procedures, and collaborate with teammates to keep facilities in top condition. A minimum of one year of floor-care experience and a valid driver's license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of floor-care experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to drive a company vehicle to various job sites.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work in hot conditions.
• Steel-toed shoes required when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Strip, seal, wax, and polish floors as needed.
• Clean commercial buildings, including restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and remove trash.
• Travel to various locations to complete floor care and specialty cleaning projects.
• Operate floor-cleaning equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, carpet machines, pressure washers, and vacuums.
• Follow safety procedures and place safety barricades in work areas.
