Job summary

The Facilities Group is seeking a Floor Tech to keep our facilities’ floors clean and well-maintained. You will operate floor machines, strip and wax floors, dust, mop, and assist with carpet care while following safety protocols and PPE usage. This role requires reliability and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and prior janitorial experience. On-site shift with opportunities for growth within The Facilities Group National footprint.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent preferred.
• Prior professional janitorial or cleaning experience.
• Prior floor care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to pass a background check in accordance with local laws and regulations.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. – We Use E-Verify

Responsibilities

• Keep facilities’ floors clean and maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Operate floor equipment including extractors and buffers.
• Clean, dust, mop, strip, and wax floors; vacuum carpets.
• Dispose of trash and assist with hazardous waste collection.
• Maintain inventory of floor areas and schedule cleaning duties.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor.
