Job summary

The Facilities Group National is seeking an energetic Floor Care Tech for the evening shift at our Cape Canaveral facilities. The role focuses on cleaning, stripping, waxing, buffing floors, carpet spot removal, and maintaining high cleanliness and safety standards.

You will operate floor machines, apply chemicals, dispose of waste, and assist with hazardous waste collection. A background in janitorial work and knowledge of cleaning equipment are preferred, with E-Verify eligibility to work in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior professional janitorial or cleaning experience.
• Prior floor care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. – E-Verify

Responsibilities

• Clean offices, hallways, common areas.
• Move furniture before/after cleaning.
• Clean, dust, mop, strip, and wax floors.
• Operate floor equipment like extractors and buffers.
• Inspect floors for damage and perform minor repairs.
• Label and measure chemicals; operate dispensing units.
• Maintain and store equipment and PPE.
• Schedule cleaning and report issues to supervisor.
• Assist with hazardous waste collection.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
