Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Registered Nurse for Med Surg at 81 Highland Avenue, onsite. A Massachusetts RN license is required; BLS is mandatory and ACLS/PALS are preferred. A BSN is preferred, and a degree from an accredited school of nursing is required.

Minimum 2 years’ Med Surg experience is expected. The RN will manage all aspects of the nursing process, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure patient- and family-centered care using available resources to deliver

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing required; bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of nursing preferred.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required; BLS required, ACLS preferred.
• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in Med Surg; 2-3 years preferred.
• Certifications CPR, ACLS, BLS may be required upon hire for specific units.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the nursing process and delivery of patient- and family-centered care.
• Request and utilize governing resources, technology, and clinical experts to optimize care.
