EPB, Inc. in Chattanooga, TN seeks a versatile Fleet Service Technician to maintain and repair EPB vehicles and equipment, including cars, trucks, and generators.

You will pump fuels, inspect and top up fluids, service tires, perform field service calls, and assist mechanics, with a 4:00 pm–12:30 am schedule.

Strong safety mindset, ability to read manuals, and a valid Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements are required.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have good eyesight, manual dexterity, and strength for lifting tires and equipment.
• Must be able to perform arithmetic for gallons and quarts of fluids.
• Must read and understand manuals and reference books.
• Must endure outdoor work in various weather and stand for long periods.
• Must possess a valid Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat Endorsements.
• Must have effective communication skills, written and oral.
• Normally works 40 hours per week, indoors and outdoors.

Responsabilidades

• Pump gasoline, diesel, and propane; check oil and inflate tires; inspect belts, hoses, antifreeze, battery, etc.
• Maintain records of fuel consumption, oil, antifreeze, and tire replacements for each EPB vehicle.
• Remove, install, and balance tires; install tire chains as needed.
• Perform service calls to vehicles in the field for tire changes and fuel deliveries.
• Wash cars, trucks, and equipment as directed.
• Keep work area clean and tools in good working order; assist mechanics.
• Deliver, set up, and remove emergency generators during outages.
• Install, mount, and balance snow tires during winter months.
• Attend safety meetings and follow safety rules; contribute to safety culture.
• Incorporate System Reliability and Excellence in Customer Service into work.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
