Greystone Golf & Country Club in Birmingham, AL, is seeking a Fitness Front Desk Attendant to deliver friendly, professional service to members and guests. You will greet visitors, coordinate department tasks, handle check-ins at the fitness center, and help maintain a clean, welcoming environment.

This part-time, non-exempt role requires you to answer phones, manage reservations, operate the POS system, and support fitness staff.

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Oral and written communication skills are essential functions.

Position Title: Fitness Front Desk Attendant

Department: Fitness

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, part-time

Reports to: Director of Fitness

Compensation Format: Hourly Rate

Position Summary

In accordance with the principles of Greystone Golf & Country Club, the fitness front desk attendant will provide the utmost hospitable service to members and their guests and create raving fans by acting as the first impression to members & guests upon entering the fitness center, coordinating the administrative tasks of the department, and overseeing the housekeeping of the fitness center.

Essential Functions

• Answer the fitness center phone professionally, take detailed messages, and respond to verbal inquires.
• Greet all members and their guests in a friendly, professional, and expedient manner.
• Maintain a professional image & display strong organizational skills.
• Operate the computer and point of sale system to check in and charge members.
• Take reservations for fitness related events/amenities.
• Clean equipment and perform general housekeeping in fitness center.
• Complete fitness laundry.
• Stock products in the fitness center.
• Complete inventory of products and advise for ordering.
• Assist all other fitness staff in performing their duties.
• Update and print reports.
• Any and all other duties as assigned by the Fitness Director.
